Inspiration: Mountain sunsets have always left a lasting impression on me. There’s something about the way the light catches the peaks, painting the sky in colors no artist could ever fully replicate. It’s humbling to remember that every piece I create is just a reflection of the ultimate masterpiece found in nature. This work was inspired by those moments in the wilderness that fill me with a deep sense of awe and gratitude for the world we get to explore.

Composed of: Many meticulously hand-cut pieces of reclaimed weathered barnwood (some of which is over 100 years old), a cedar sky, and a poplar sun.
