"Echoes of Dusk" - Large Statement Piece

My largest piece to date, this artwork was meticulously crafted from over 350 individually cut and placed pieces of wood. Rich in texture and detail, it promises to make a striking statement in any room where it is displayed.

Inspired by: This piece draws inspiration from the breathtaking pink-hued sunsets that frequently grace the Colorado mountains. I aimed to encapsulate the awe-inspiring sensation of entering a mountain basin, enveloped by majestic peaks, and bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of dusk.

Composed of: Epoxy resin (sunset sky and lake), textured steel (background snow capped mountains), and lots of naturally weathered reclaimed wood (some well over 100 years old).
