"Crowned by the Wild"

Regular price $3,875.00 $0.00

Noble Beasts is a celebration of the wild — and a reminder of the untamed beauty that still lives among us.
Each piece is crafted from hundreds of individually selected pieces of hardwood, carefully shaped and placed by hand over months of work. In a time when machines and lasers dominate much of the art world, I’m proud to keep the true tradition of hand-crafted intarsia alive — one piece at a time. While I can recreate a design by request, no two pieces will ever be identical, making each one a true original. Noble Beasts was created for those who feel most alive in wild places — and who want a lasting, heirloom reminder of that connection in their home.

Composed of:
250+ meticulously hand-cut pieces of beautiful hardwood, including black walnut, maple, and Peruvian walnut. The background is made from African Gombe, the mountains from reclaimed barnwood, the eye from epoxy resin, and the trees from textured steel.

Key Features:
Size: 36in x 36in framed in black walnut (Large Statement Piece)
Ships for Free: This piece will ship via UPS within 3–4 business days after purchase, with full insurance included.
Ready to Hang: Comes with a pre-installed French cleat hanger and all necessary hardware.

The Story Behind "Crowned by the Wild"

A bull moose carries his antlers like a crown — massive, towering, and built for battle. Through the fall, they define him. They help him fight, intimidate, and survive. But when winter sets in, he does something unexpected.

He lets them go.

It’s not weakness. It’s instinct. Instead of clinging to what once made him strong, he sheds his crown to conserve energy, endure the cold, and prepare for what’s next. And by spring? He grows them back — bigger, stronger, more powerful than before.

Nature doesn’t waste time holding onto things that no longer serve it. The moose knows that strength isn’t just about what you carry — it’s about what you’re willing to release so you can rebuild.

There’s a lesson in that. Sometimes, the weight we hold — whether it’s pride, expectations, or the need to prove ourselves — has run its course. Sometimes, stepping into the next season means shedding what no longer serves us.
