"Into the Storm"

Inspiration: The American Bison has been a long standing symbol of freedom, strength, and the self determination. When confronted with an impending storm, instead of fleeing like other animals it will take it head on and charge into the thick of it. In doing so, it limits the amount of time it takes to weather the storm and quickly overcomes the adversity. This is a life lesson I have tried to take into my own life when facing life’s problems and storms. Don’t run. Don’t avoid it. Don’t wish it away. You’ll only sit in it longer that way. Take it head on!

Composed of: 300+ hand cut and hand sanded pieces of cedar/poplar, epoxy resin for the eyes/ horns, and a hardwood walnut frame.
